Maxpedition Prepared Citizen Classic v2.0, Large Black

The "Prepared Citizen Classic" backpack is specifically designed for concealed carry and ballistic protection, while maintaining a discreet appearance as a generic backpack from the "lifestyle" market to avoid drawing attention to itself. The rear "secret" compartment can be utilized for carrying a concealed weapon, tablets, securing important documents during travel, or adding a ballistic panel (not included).

The latest Version 2.0, released in October 2019, is the second limited edition run of this highly popular backpack, with a total of 2000 pieces produced: 300 in Black, 750 in Wolf Gray, 650 in Dark Blue, and 300 in OD Green. There are four key differences from its predecessor: the large central Maxpedition logo has been removed for a more discreet appearance, a 2" x 3.75" loop field has been added for attaching morale or ID patches, hook & loop wings have been included to manage shoulder strap webbing slack, and backpack strap connections have been strengthened.

Similar to the previous version, the Prepared Citizen Classic v2.0 has a total capacity of 1364 cu. in. / 22L, with a fully loop-lined concealed carry compartment accessible from both sides. It is constructed from Teflon-coated 1000-denier nylon fabric, features YKK zippers, Duraflex buckles, and meticulous reinforced stitching to ensure a high level of quality and durability, as expected from all Maxpedition products.

This backpack also includes a spacious main compartment with a padded bottom and rear sleeve that can accommodate a 15" laptop, a frontal compartment with organizer pockets and loop field for attaching accessories, a separate CCW compartment with a security lockout strip and dual side access for ambidextrous draw, padded shoulder straps with field-replaceable side release buckles, and reinforced stitching on all connections. The front lower compartment features YKK dual knotted zipper pulls and skin-friendly 1" seat belt webbing for added comfort and durability.
