Maxpedition Janus Extension Pocket

The JANUS pocket is designed with two distinct sides: one side features loop fields for ID patches, while the other side is equipped with PALS webbing to accommodate modular accessories. Our bags are meticulously crafted with a triple coat of polyurethane for water resistance, and a final coat of DuPont Teflon Fabric Protector to repel the elements. We only use the best components and designs available.

Unlike our competitors, we exclusively use complete YKK zippers and slides, ensuring the highest quality in our products. Our bags also feature military grade nylon webbing for added durability in the straps, handles, and modular attachment points. Genuine Duraflex buckles and hardware provide strength and functionality that you can rely on.

Each bag is constructed with large, unseamed panels of 1000 Denier Nylon, reinforced at every stress point with composite thread. We avoid using unnecessary seams or polyester parts to ensure the longevity and durability of our products.

The main pocket measures 8” x 4” x 1.5” and includes internal dividers and elastic loops, with a dual zipper opening for easy access. The extension strap has a range of maximum 13” and minimum 8”, allowing for customizable wearing options. The empty weight of the bag is 8.4oz with the strap included.
