Maxpedition utilizes its patent pending TacTie Attachment Strap system to effortlessly integrate accessory pockets onto packs, vests, MOLLE equipment, and PALS surfaces in an interlocking manner. Our bags are finished with a triple coat of polyurethane for water resistance, along with a final coat of DuPont Teflon Fabric Protector to repel the elements. We only use the best components and designs, including complete YKK zippers and slides - unlike our competitors who use YKK slides on generic zippers. Military grade nylon webbing is used for straps, handles, and modular attachment points, while genuine Duraflex buckles and hardware provide strength and functionality.

We start with large, unseamed panels of 1000 Denier Nylon and reinforce each stress point meticulously with composite thread, avoiding unnecessary seams or polyester parts. The closed loop design ensures an extremely secure connection, and once properly engaged, a TacTie strap will not open unless deliberately disengaged by the user. Detachment is quick and easy by hand, without the need for special tools. Additionally, the TacTie Attachment Straps are completely reusable and interchangeable.
